Default 2020 What did you do to your Fox today?

New year and a new thread!

Unfortunately I haven't done anything to my Foxes today. We got about 2" of snow and have family get togethers today.

I was finally able to get my Recaro seat foam picked up and ready to be installed on one of my sets of Recaros.

Installed my smog pump delete, painted the pulleys on my a/c and power steering pump and installed. Bolted up my down pipes and installed adjustable clutch cable.

Drove my 1986 ASC Capri to work for the first after getting it tagged after a 2 year build. Someone at work said...."I like your Mustang"....I said its not a Mustang, Its a Capri....and they say "a what?".

New rockers, pushrods, water pump, & front cover. Went ahead and painted everything while it was apart. Intake went back on yesterday evening. Getting there!

Installed new lokar throttle cable and bracket. Not to hard to do although getting cable attached to pedal was a bit of a pain.

    Happy New Year ...

Indirectly relevant to working on the 5C/1E Tu-Tone Coupe in memory of my son Cameron:

    1. Arranged the sale of his '87 Coupe track car today.
    2. Ordered two roll-up doors contributing to the completion of our 24' x 24' shop.
    3. Building a new list of parts and carbs to sell to fund the '84 project.

Will soon be getting back to his '84 and '90 coupe projects ... after coming back from Miami' this month, to get a follow up review on my 2nd jaw replacement. Man what a ride, and anxious to move forward on his cars and ... "When do I get to drive my Cobra ('04 SVT), Gregory?" request from the wifey.

    Greg in Florida

BTW - Anyone hear from 4EYES lately?
Featured 4 Eye: 84 Tu-Tone 5C/1E - Dedicated project resto-mod for my son Cameron Lee. :tu

4 Eye past:83 GT - project, traded for a boat load of goodies to finish other cars.
86 Coupe - Gave to a friends son - being restored. 86 GT - Gave to another friends son ... finished.
    Our Current Fords: 66 F100/FE, 84 Coupe/Tu-Tone(5C-1E), 87 Coupe/408 drag car, 89 GT/347, 90 Coupe/347/Supercharger, 94 Ranger, 98 Explorer/5.0, 04 Cobra SVT, and ...

Made some progress on several idle projects. Got the 8.8 under it with new control arms. Also got new prebent fuel and brake lines in there and started on the Pypes dual exhaust system. Still a ton of work left, but nice to make some progress.

Moved it from one bay of the garage to another. It was already pretty much put away for this year but my son bought a '67 Mustang project car and we needed to make room for it so we double stacked my car and his summer driver in the lift bay. We still needed more room for all the parts so now my Yukon has to sit outside. When I built the garage I thought 4 bays were enough, but I was wrong.

I received my Explorer intake so I cleaned it up and painted it. Took the top plate off and sand blasted it then sanded it smooth polished and clear coated it. Removed my stock upper intake, throttle body, egr, and IAC. Cleaned up everything to put on the new intake. Then I took the fuel injector harness out so I can recondition it and replace a couple broken connectors.

I took advantage of the warm weather here in Alberta over the weekend but its going to get cold again this week. Hopefully the next warm day I can continue on it.

Here are a few pics of my new intake

That came out beautifully. Looks like it was stuffed on a shelf from years ago and never used.

    I bought a bumper:

the polished look is nice. a little flashy for my setup though. I'm going more for clean and subtle for my build. I have no doubt it will look great on yours.

    Thanks
