1985 MUSTANG GT - $3800 (EAST GRANBY CT)

At a glance this Craigslist car looks like a pretty solid and unmolested original. Still has the dealership emblem on the hatch. Usual paint fading and yellow peeking through the paint etc. White 1985 GT with black decals. Catch is - the owner can't find the title. Looks like the car might be a good candidate for a freshening and be a nice driver for someone?

The state of CT might not issue a title for a car that old?

Being less than an hour away, it would be a nice addition. But the "no title" is a huge red flag for trying to get it legalized in MA....

Perhaps the price of this GT could be negotiated down a little because it doesn't have a title?

But if I'm reading correctly (am I?) - due to the age of the car, Connecticut only requires a Bill of Sale for the owner to sell it to you. You just have to also ask him to supply you with the Registration.

And Massachusettes only requires the previous owner's Registration and then the actual Bill of Sale - thankfully also because of the age of the car.

I could be wrong but that what it seems to look like. Seems like a nice original looking car . . . would be a nice starting point for someone
