I am not sure there is a way to remove the Mustang lettering on the OEM glass without damaging or at least leaving evidence of the lettering. If installing them on a Capri, then I would recommend looking into a large decal with a black background that would block out the Mustang and have the CAPRI name on top of the black. Good luck!

I thought the "mustang" lettering was silkscreened into the back of the glass in black like the dot matrix surround. The white part is simply a piece of white plastic behind the silkscreened letters that can yellow and discolor over time.

From what I remember as you stated the Mustang is on the back of the glass, but not in an area that is accessible to try and remove it from the back side. I have one set of aero quarter glass left, I can try and take a look later this week if I remember.
