Default 1983 Capri T top power window conversion.

Has anyone changed their manual windows to electric in their 1983 or ealier Capri? I need a driver side regulator but can't find one, so I'm looking to upgrade. I'm assuming that you'd use the convertible regulator seeing that the doors are the same for either vehicle. I just don't want to go and spend the money on one and it not work out and be stuck with it.
Thanks in advance for any input.

I may have both manual regulators, from an 85 convertible, I think. Not sure if they're the same as the earlier ones or not. If you can find out, I'd part with one or both. How quick would you need it?

I’ve done this exact conversion! I used the regulator from the t top donor car. I believe they are hardtop door regulators since the conversion company was cutting the top off factory doors. The regulators did have orange paint on them and although I didn’t compare closely I believe it was indicating some sort of a modification was made... probably to the limit of how high it would go. I didn’t have anything but my manual regulators to compare them to.

According to the information that I have all the electric regulators are the same from 1981-1986 for all 3 body styles, the hardtop, convertible, and the T-top cars. Here is a screen capture of the catalog page.
