Default Manual window crank handle removal

I've searched already and all I can find are threads on switching power to manual when I type in window crank. I have an 82 with manual windows and I'm trying to remove the crank handles so I can get the door panel off. I know most crank handles on cars have a clip behind them that you remove first then the handle comes off, however, I'm not seeing a clip on these and am lost at this point on how to get them off. If anyone knows the trick and has experience with this I would greatly appreciate your input.

Isn't there just a single screw in the face of the handle? That's how my Fairmont is.

1 screw at the center. Nothing else

I was hoping that wasn't the case because the screws are stripped and wont budge. Time to start drilling I guess. Thanks for input y'all.

Use a bigger drill bit to take the head of the screw off. It might destroy the handle but better then destroying the splined shaft. Then grab the screw with vise grips
