Well another Midwest Fox Fest here in Omaha, NE is finally in the books!
What an exciting weekend it turned out to be!!!
The weather ended up being pretty hot with ample sunshine but we did have a quick scare in the morning when a hefty front moved straight up the interstate a couple miles from the show. Besides a few really quick sprinkles, the weather worked in our favor! Thankfully no coats were needed this year.
We had an amazing turnout with a total of 123 cars that came and joined in on the fun whether in full or in part.
We had cars come in from Missouri, Kansas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Colorado, Iowa, Oklahoma as well as from all across Nebraska. Multiple "long haulers" drove their cars 3-600 miles one way to attend this one, with the long haul award going to a guy in Colorado Springs that drove his 608 miles!
Out of the 123 cars that attended, 40 of them fall in the 4-Eye class!!!! The "4-eye" crowd made a really killer showing and hope to see that trend continue.
This year was especially meaningful to me as a promise to a great friend finally became a reality.
A majorly huge thank you goes out to Steve (bluesfannoz) for making this promise become a reality by bringing Travis T's car up to the event! I got a ton of pics of and with it and it honestly made my weekend. Travis and I were always talking about getting these 2 cars together but unfortunately we were never able to before his passing.
Now onto the important stuff!!!! Pictures!!!!!
The 4 Eyes!
