That obnoxious paint job ruined it for 99.99% of buyers. It will be expensive because it's been on tv, but no one really wants to pay for it because they'd be stuck with that paint scheme.

    What paint? That's a wrap.
Since it's no reserve, try and grab it for cheap. then take it home and peel the wrap off to either sand it for paint or do a more tasteful wrap.

True... and those do wear out after a while too. No one could blame you for taking it off. Might as well dump the hideous wheels too while you're at it. If I did that and then wanted to sell it later, I'd say something like "Removed the Gas Monkey Ugly". You'd really have something then. I'll bet it's pretty fun to drive...

Someone from NorCal or the Pacific Northwest buy it and I'll re-wrap it. As simple color like medium blue or gray would be low-key and fit the car. Maybe a stripe or two.

I watched the episode but it's been a while. I was thinking they used that chrome paint or whatever that came out a few years back. You know what they say about memory and age lol

The rear quarter panels have a sticker from a wrap shop. I'd assume it was wrapped just from that, but I never watched the episode of GMG. I'm guessing it was built as a potential drift car based on the handbrake inside?

Yep, wrap and it was built as a drift car. I remember the episode as I hated that chrome wrap and I don't really like drifting either.

Did you see that? Had to be the lowest price sold car at the auction.
Came down to $3000 to start it off, ended at $4500.

The episode just ran a week or so ago. They had close to $15K in the original build, I believe. That's funny.
