    Default Ignition coil mounting locations

Hey all, need some help with where to mount my blaster 2 ignition coil in my 84 gt. Right now I have it mounted where the old coil was but now my duraspark ignition module won't fit where it normally goes. Should I keep coil where it is and move duraspark instead or vice versa? Here is a pic to show the coil in it's current location. Thanks

Don't you have room on the passenger-side strut-tower?
That's where I mounted mine. I have my ABS unit in the stock coil location.
I did have to extend the wiring to the coil - not a big deal.

Also, if you move the coil to the passenger-side, then you must put a wire loom over the coil, to protect it from the alternator and upper water hose. Again, not a bid deal.

    Good Luck!

Thanks for the reply, passenger side is a option but I'm also running a electric fuel pump so I was thinking of mounting my pressure gauge there. Anybody else have any tips on where to mount it? I've seen people mount them right on the intake but was told that's not a good idea.

Flip the bracket over so the coil is toward the inside of the strut tower. It might hang too far in but there are a lot of holes in the tower, I am sure you can find one that will work.
