I added some Baja foglights I cut the plastic grills off them, painted the covers and put the ford stickers on all for 30 dollars.
making the brackets to mount them was a pain though

Those look good....what do they look like lit? Where did you get them?
1985 GT, Sunroof, 5 Lug, Rear Discs, 01 Graphite Bullets, 88 forged piston shortblock, 2.02/1.60 Alum heads, Weiand Stealth, Holley C950 TBI, BBK Long tubes
autozone 29 dollars, they had a plastic grill over them but it was easy to cut out the grill. The car was an lx so I had to make brackets, which I still have to tweak a bit to get right.
CW8002K-Baja-Rectangular-Driving-Light-Kit-White 24 dollars on ebay
the stickers were 5 dollars at autozone too.
Great alternative to the crazy expensive Marchal's. Might have to try that on my '84.

I love this. I figured there had to be something out there that was a good alternative to Marchal. I did something similar to my 88gt, but it was basically when I was in a pinch. Local shop wouldn't pass my car for state inspection since I didn't have fog lights. Evidently, if your bumper has openings for fog lights, you have to have working lights in them. I stopped by the local O'reilly parts store and grabbed a set of round fog lights. They had the grid on them, similar to these, but you could just pop them off. I wasn't sure if they would even fit, but I swear they fit better than the originals lol!
