Default 88 T-bird Power steering reservoir

2.3T Thunderbird. Thought it was a good idea to rotate my upper intake manifold to do a front mount intercooler. My power steering pump was the kind that had the reservoir on the pump itself. Doesn't fit any longer. So I switched the housing off of another 88 TC that had the power steering pump with an external reservoir.

My questions are about the hose hookups in the external reservoir. I’m fairly certain the larger diameter hole is where it mounts on top of the PS pump. Anyone have any ideas where the other goes? Apologies on how vague it is. (See attached) Name: IMG_3476.jpg

Lower would be pump feed, upper return from the rack.

An alternative that I've done on my Fairmont is to use Ranger brackets: http://forum.merkurclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12217
