Question Power Window/Lock Switch Electrical Terminals

    Hello All,

First time poster. I have a 1986 Mustang GT with power windows and locks. i am in the middle of overhauling the internals of both the driver and passenger doors. I am up to the switches and have finally sorted out the wiring (PO tore switches apart so i had figure out how the wiring went) but now I have two broken electrical terminals. That is, the female terminals that slide into the plastic wire guides on the back of the switch housing and slide onto the male pegs sticking out of the back of the switch.

Does anyone know where i can find replacement terminals?

    Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately I don't believe replacement terminals are available. I just went thru a similar repair. I believe you are going to have to use a donor harness to make the repair like I did.

Maybe someone else has better information, but I didn't have any luck finding any repair terminals. Good Luck and if you do, definitely post up what you find.

Does this look like the terminal you need?

Those are the terminals I used to repair the harness in my Ranger several years back. Don't have a part number off-hand, but will endeavour to find it for you. Be prepared for it to be discontinued. If I remember correctly, they were hard to source, then.
