    Default Wheel Torque

Does anyone know how much to torque my 17 inch wheels on my 86 Mustang GT Thanks Jim

75 to 90 ft-lbs. Some say 75 to 85, no need go higher no matter what wheels you put on it. I have used 90 for years.

I’ve always used 100. Not going to hurt anything given the size of the studs

I use 85. Using 90 it starts wearing the seat cone after a a bunch of wheel swaps, especially with softer aluminum wheels like Welds or ones made in China.
