Question about Ford Performance A/C Delete Bracket

Hello folks,

I'd like to remove the AC components on an '83 GT. I see this kit from Ford Performance is listed as '85-'93. Any particular reason it won't work on an '83? Pump different, timing cover bolts different, holes in cylinder head different? I don't care for the look of a 'delete' pulley and I'd rather have this kit work.
