    Default struts and mounts question

I just changed my front struts they still were original 1984. I changed them but did not change the upper mount bushings. the problem is if I take the weight off the wheel I can move the upper strut back and forth about 1/4 inch. does that mean the bushings in the top need changing? I did not change them because I thought i the strut came with new bushings and it did not.

Sounds like new upper mount bushings are in order.

Should be no slop or movement at all.

Try some caster/camber plates from Maximum Motorsports instead
