    Default 1982 GT restoration

I bought it really great shape back in November 2018. But it still needs a few parts replaced.
I received a few parts this weekend. So here we go.
    First box of goodies.

Sun visors would not stay in place.

These are the same on my '82. Years ago I used some spare black coat hooks and secured them for driving. Nice to know you can get these replacements.

Seems like a pretty big box for sun visor rods

Great looking car. I had a couple 82 GT's. They were Medium Red, I have never seen a silver 82 in person. Enjoy.

Are those aftermarket TRX rims? If so how do you like them, and what tire size worked with the pace car style front end?

They are the aftermarket LMR wheels, 16X7. I love them and the ride is great.

Still rocking the original plug wires. They are dirty. But a little WD40. They look great. Here is #5 1982 before

    after

Nice car. I'm coveting your plug wires.

Wiping the undercarriage down some and I noticed the black seam sealer. I never noticed this on my 93? Is this original?

I can’t believe just a light wipe down of WD40 and how clean the under carriage is.

Having to switch gears. Having some braking issues. I’m thinking I’m having some internal leakage on my master cylinder. I believe it is the original master cylinder. Bendix brand on both the booster and master cylinder.
