Looks great! I think I remember this car from a thread last year. I think this car is from New Mexico originally. Perfect car to refurbish!

That’s the same one. Nothing but repainting a few parts and general maintenance

I just installed these in my 79 yesterday. LMR's and they look, fit and function well!

I was able to take the old accumulator to a hydraulic hose shop and they was able to use my old one and put a new hose on.

Nice progress on the AC system. Going R12 or R134a?

It’s all wrap up and cooling great. New seal and new hose. But I think my infrared thermometer may be off some

Very cool... I just fixed / re-charged my daughter's ride last week (not a Mustang).

I need to do this to my 82 GT someday in the future.

Flush that 37 year old tar out of the system....you'll be amazed at how the brakes will firm up with a full flush & bleed with fresh fluid. I did mine last year for the first time since 1982....wow what a difference!

Also interesting to your wire boots at the cap end being red....mine are black.

Your absolutely correct. There was so much sludge in there. If I didn’t already buy it I think I would have flushed it out and kept rolling with the original.

I know. I was absolutely impressed how clean the undercarriage was.
