Default 85 LX convert - 3.8 blocked exhaust - Please help

So i was having an issue with my 1985 LX convertible. The exhaust seems clogged. I brought it to a mechanic. I had the catalytic converter replaced. The muffler seems to flow fine, but we still have a clog someplace else. Where else should I focus my troubleshooting? Can i get headers for this configuration someplace? Does anyone headers for a 85' 3.8? Anyone, please help.

If the catalytic converter was bad and possibly came apart internally, the material could be clogging up the exhaust system anywhere behind the converter to the tail pipes. Often the material will collect in the muffler(s), but again depending on the size, shape, and if/how it disintegrated the stuff could be anywhere. I would disconnect the exhaust behind the new converter and see what happens. If the car seems to not have any clogs or obstructions, then you may need to search a bit more thru the exhaust. Good Luck!
