Need some help from an AOD guru, I was working on installing the Baumann shift kit in my AOD and one of the things they have you do it add a spacer to the 1-2 shift accumulator.

The idea is the compress the spring, except my valve body didn’t have a spring. It’s from an 84 LTD LX, has the B od servo, and is all stock (150k miles).

Do I need this spring since it didn’t have one stock?
