    Default Poster car turning 40.

I've been sitting on this news for a couple months now waiting for the reveal so as not to spoil the surprise. Back in the early part of the year the local Mustang club was seeking ideas from the members for the poster for the annual Show-n-Shine. I sent in a suggestion to honour the 40th anniversary of the first Fox Mustang and the Fox bodies in general as the longest running Mustang platform. It seems responses were minimal and of the ones they got, they liked my idea and wanted to feature my car on the poster. Finally got the digital copy today and will have a full size hard copy later to add to the wall of honour in the garage. All this just in time for my car to officially turn 40 next week having a build date of May14th 1979 according to the Marti report.

Hey, that's pretty sweet, wished I lived in Alberta rather than Toronto.

    Nice Ed!

I backed out of my company golf tournament to attend the show this year. Hope it doesn't rain like last year!

Me too, sun and warm would be great. I work that night so will have to be out in good time.

BTW, I did suggest your TM as a candidate to join mine on the poster. Hopefully we can park together at the show, our cars will make for a great contrast of styles.

Last year the free entry was for cars over thirty years, I think they had too many old cars and had to bump the age a few years. Oh well, entry fees go to charity so all good in the end.

Good show yesterday. Met up with Darran and the Tangerine Machine to roll in together. I was cool to have the two 79s side by side finally.

Good turnout for the event with quite a few Fox Mustangs.

Came home with a little souvenir. Won for best Fox in the show and was awarded the Club trophy for Best build finished in 2018. It was a joint win, the other project was a stunning restoration of a 71 Mach 1 convertible.
