    Default Duraspark harness question

This should be a simple question for you guys. I gave my buddy my old 82gt. The previous owner installed an aftermarket Holley ignition system and I believe some of the factory wiring was removed. He's going to install the duraspark 2 OEM setup. I already gave him the correct distributor and he's buying an OEM duraspark module. The distributor has one plug (goes to module). Module has 2 plugs (one ties into the car's harness, other one goes to distributor). Do I have this correct? And if so, is there an extension harness that goes from the short pigtail on the module to the short pigtail on the distributor? They both have short pigtails that I'm sure won't reach each other, with the inner fender mounting area where module is located. I'm working out of town, so I can't look at my cars to check. I'm trying to get him pointed in the right direction.

Ah. Thanks for posting that. I looked up some wiring diagrams, but they didn't really show the extension harness between the distributor and module (or I overlooked it). Any idea if that particular harness is available as aftermarket?

It is very easy to build the extension harness with crimp style blade connectors .
I have made several over the years , for swap projects and so.

That's pretty much what I figured. I looked around and didn't see them anywhere.

Painless sells Duraspark II harnesses. They are mainly for engine swaps, but if your wires are old and cracked, they are not a bad option. It has the connectors for box, distributor, and coil.
