    Default Edelbrock info

Looking for Edelbrock carb info. Guy wants to trade me an Edelbrock 1407 8134 carb for some jeep wheels, he's not sure on the size of the carb. Anyone know what exactly what this carb is or how can I find out?
    Thanks, Zen

    1407 comes back as a 750cfm carb w/manual choke.

8134 is a Performer and Thunder series fuel line.

This was determined doing a quick Google search.

So the 1407 number identifies the carb cfm? Tried putting both sets of numbers in Edelbrocks search but came up empty. Guessing that the 1407 number is the key?

Be aware, that's the Edelbrock carburetor that went all through development and pumping out to the masses with the original design Carter 625 boosters in it that do not reach down properly to the smallest diameter of the venturi within the Edelbrock 750... they do not get signaled properly, for main circuit start-up... which makes for all sorts of hair-pulling "fun" trying to dial in. The fix is some brass tubing sleeves pressed onto the booster bottoms to reach down to where they are supposed to, or investigating the other Edelbrock/Carter removable boosters for boosters that have the correct reach downward...
