    Default Embedding YouTube videos?

In the past, I have embedded YouTube videos in threads here, but the embed feature doesn't seem to work now. I following the instructions linked below. Did something change, or am I doing something wrong?

Here is a video. All that appears is the link, not the first frame of the video.

There is some junk dna or program code. Tablets and Smart phones suck at doing this.

The Clutch start for this is

    " "

    For my link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTezv3Pzdls&t=8s

    You take the "v=iTezv3Pzdls" part.

    The ""v="

"&t=8s" part is the lead in time.

The past sequence for image is then

    in Blue

Wow, didn't realize I had to learn to edit code ... FEP used to do all of that for me automatically? So, xctasy, I followed (sort of) your instructions ...

This is the entire embed link that YouTube provided:

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/8vkMk-79Imc" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

    I took the "meat":

    https://www.youtube.com/embed/8vkMk-79Imc

... and pasted that into the FEP dialogue box that pops up when selecting the Insert Video button. Then, I then had to modify the first [video] command as follows (see red text) ... basically add the =YouTube; and then the ID of the video:

    [VIDEO=YouTube;8vkMk-79Imc]

I'll never remember all of that again ...

I embed all the time on my threads. You just want the "watch" link. If you click on a video, it should have link that you can copy and paste.

    This link includes "watch" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPxQsybLstU

    It comes up like this:
