Default 84 5.0 carb negative battery cable?

Looking for correct part number, or NOS cable, or something reproduction that is similar in quality and fit to the original cable. The one that’s on there now seems to be a little short ... want it long enough to wrap around backside of battery. My general experience is that battery cables from the various suppliers don’t always fit like stock.

This is the one I used for my 85 with the extra plug:

They have a few other variants. The one I posted, though said to be an exact reproduction, is slightly off. The lug is too long , by about an 1/8 of an inch. It interferes with the vent cap. I ended up carving a relief in the cap with a Dremel.

Ok, thanks for that reference. Confirms my view that replacement battery cables are rarely exact fits. Why are these so hard to make right?

This one from blueovalindustries looks correct ... anyone have experience with this one? It says 39.5" length ... I think I'll measure my existing cable. Listing says "ABSOLUTELY NO RETURNS ON ELECTRICAL ITEMS", so I need to be sure.

That should be long enough. The one I posted is 39.25 and worked fine. There is a difference though. On mine, the cable exits to the right and then wraps around the back of the battery. Yours exits to the left and will run over the top.

That is like the cable i have on my car replacing the oem.
Matches the factory routing, mid ground, and clamp design (the 90° side wire angle).
The negative cable terminal clamp nut end faces the rear of car.
The ground cable routes from battery forward toward the rad support, down to the subframe (mid connection), then to block.

2.3 engine block ground is near the ps engine mount. Dunno where the block ground is on other engines.
Neither cable went behind or over the battery.
Seen cars that have batteries with posts on the fender side, which i don't believe is correct.
