Thread: Chin Guard?

  1. #1

    Default Chin Guard?

Anyone know of a chin guard (not sure what to call it) that would fit an 85 GT? I have some curb rash on the underside leading edge of the front bumper cover. I would like to cover-up/protect it with a tight, low-profile, form fitting piece. I am not referring to a splitter though. Those tend to stick straight out, I would like this to curl/wrap up over the lower lip a bit.

    Thanks.

Yeah, that's what I'm seeing (or similar), but not really what I am envisioning. I'm thinking of something like a door edge guard, but scaled up and applied somehow to the leading edge.

I applied two layers of Trimbrite T9020 clear plastic film on both Bosch glass fog light lens.
15k miles so far so good. No damage to lens from stone hits, sand etc.
Film shows no wear, peeling, yellowing, sandblasting, from weather or road.
When it does, will remove old and cut new pieces.
Very thick and sticky. Maybe can heat with heat gun to conform to slight curves.
    Available in black.

No sales endorsement, link posted to view product pic. Paid 18.00 for a fresh 5 7/8" x 12' roll.
