Default Does Berryman Chem-Dip carb cleaner can go bad??

Bought a gallon of this stuff about 5 years ago, worked great soaking parts for my 4180C rebuild. Only used about half. Kept the original can with new, clean solution, kept old used solution in another can. Opened it today to use to soak a Honda pressure washer carb, and there are all of these little shiny strands of what appear to be metal flakes, acting like they are electrically charged, repelling each other. From the can?? Decided not to use it. Read a post somewhere else where the guy saw the same thing.

Yes, it does. I have had two cans erode away on me. Believe it or not, the carb cleaner does slowly eat away at the metal can it is in, especially with repeated exposures to open air. Also, if you are in a humid environment, that doesn't help at ALL!
I just tossed an empty, eroded can away two weeks ago for that very same reason.
