Does anyone know the thread pattern for an srod shifter ? My factory shift knob broke and I’m trying to find a cheap replacement until I switch to my t5.

I used a cheap auto parts store universal knob with a set screw. Worked Ok for me...

If the threads are ok, take the knob to the hardware section of a big box home center or hardware store.
They have self serve bolt and nut size checkers. Find out what bolt size the knob threads into.
    Go from there.
My oem 79 4 speed knob looks the same and threads onto a Hurst shifter lever with 3/8-16 thread.
Later oem shifter knobs are metric.
