    Default Another gear pattern question...

    Referencing my gear pattern chart, it appears you need less pinion shim. Pinion running too deep in teeth of ring gear.

    looks about right to me...I've set a few of the gears up with that wear pattern...if you have it to close to the end of the teeth , there's not much meat there and you will start breaking or cracking the ends of the teeth.
