who knows there was one on ebay a ways back that i saved the info about, the guy selling was dumb though, he quoted that from the factory it had gt-40 heads, 8.8 rear, and other stuff that wasn't offered until later years. email me at sleepercoupe@yahoo.com if you want the pics and info that that guy had

I have what is said to be a factory '83 Dominator it did have stock long tube heads, but as for the gears they are 3.08's, a the carb is a standard 600cfm Holley. I am not sure about the intake it is a Ford 4bbl alum. I could get the casting #'s and maybe somebody here would be able to tell.

I have only had this car a year and I am just now getting around to working on it and putting the motor in. So I too would like more info on the Dominator package.

I think they also have a "true" ram air.

The Dominators were sold at Lees Summit Ford. The last year were 1990. Ithink 83 was the first year. Word had it the hiway patrol got wind of the dealership stripping off the smog stuff on some of em. As far as the EFI ones I think all they had were gears few other cosmetic things. One guy told me they HAD to do 13's after the mods. Don't know how true that is.

The Dominators were alot like the Predetors made in Texas and Topeka.
I have seen a black 84 Dominator running around Independence.

A guy I went to high school with had a red 87/88 GT Dominator. I think he eventually wrecked the car while driving drunk or something one night.

I once looked into buying a mint 84.5 Anniv. Edition GT Dominator with T-Tops. I wish I hadn't been 17 and had no money at the time although the car would be rough at this point since it would have been my daily driver and I lived on a gravel road south of Odessa...

I used to see another Dominator (not sure on the year) parked in a driveway in Blue Springs (on the Woods Chapel Rd side of town) all the time when I was working in that area.

There was a beat to hell Twister II in downtown Odessa for a while but I have no idea whatever happened to it.

Oh, my goodness, this car was 2 blocks from my house. I drove by it and waved to the kid. I think it was for sale locally in the paper for $4500, but my stupid brother didnt have any money at the time, and I never do. DOMINATOR, I'd like to have one.
