Yep I'm from Washington...Everett to exact. I used to take it to the Mustang Roundup annually....just recently I started attending again now that the race setup is "more street" than race.

Your using the Edelbrock Super Victor EFI PN # 350-29285 Port EFI

How does it differ from the Standard Edlebrock EFI? Is it just the recommended 4500-9000 RPM rev range?

The difference comes down to cubic inches and cylinder head port size...I have fully ported Canfield head with 2.05 intake and 331 cu.in. Originally I thought I was going to have to at minimum gasket match and maybe port match but I was wrong...The Super Victor is huge!! So if you are running stock or mild heads and 302cu.in then choose the smaller kit.. (normally I'd include part #s but typing on phone is not my favorite). That being said, I'm really happy with the multi port sequential fuel injection and Edelbrock has excellent tech support...online and via phone. Only issue I have had is that if I don't start the engine regularly then I have to re sync the ecm...in order to view datastream

Good choice, and thanks for sharing.

Edelbrock Victor Jr. # ED2921 is the smaller.

Doesn't show in the photos but I went through the hassle of seam welding every seam forward of the rear bulkhead after I installed the Griggs in car subframe kit...hours and hours and beers and hours of welding...

Installing fixed mount calipers on the rear turned out to be quite the headache...The things they don't tell you after you just spent over $4,000 bucks on brakes!!

Was going to post a bunch of new photos documenting all the current work I've been doing on the Capri but all the files are too big to upload and I don't feel like resizing them all. So I resized two that I edited in cartoon mode which look rather cool

Very cool build indeed, and you deserve a big thumbs up for the magazine write up. Thanks for sharing, for me it never gets old to see a nicely put together Mercury.

Put 100 miles on the transmission, the .63 did what I wanted it to as far as cruising rpms with the 3.73 rear end gears but the new Tremec TKX has a .68 5th that will handle 7,500rpm upshifts....
The .80 I took out would handle that but I need more overdrive for long drives. The T-5 .63 synchro is just too small
