    Default untitled project... 86 coupe.

    fixed a rust spot and started to take appart.. more to come. she was brown, someone painted it black... i have a few ideas but unsure of the final color.

    Dan G ( Dlgourn here ) reworked a not only un-spoilered, but brown 85 GT302 Predator 5S 0126 (the only one in that color)

    did some more smoothing out of wavy areas... back at it tomorrow.

    got some work done. smoothed out the roof line, was a little wavy.... next is to remove the 1/4 windows, finish up the bumper covers, sand out the lines from when someone painted the car black and didnt take it apart... then get into primer. i got the color all picked out. cant wait to see it on the car. 2 week wait for the hood also.. but i have a small hole in the floor to fix after its primed, so more to do still.

    today, the 1/4 windows, fenders and maybe the doors come off. ill do the fenders amd doors off the car on stands. the car should get primed today. the drive line comes out saturday.

    Great color choice. I’m a fan of the Kona blue & Deep Impact blue. Would like to paint my 87 Tbird one of these colors someday

    got the areas protected so nothing gets effed up from oil and crap for the engine removal.

    not too much to show, but drive line is out. ill be deleting whats not needed and tucking the rest of the wires, and then clean up the bay.

    Great work. Are you planning on hiding the starter solenoid as well?

    Yes, all the wiring is actually in place on the inside of the fender area along with the hood latch cable. Ill get picts of that.

    Nice work. Rust never sleeps. It's good to find it all and get rid of it, even though it's a lot more work than you thought!
