Can't wait for the salt to get cleared out so I can get the car out on the road again!

If anyone wants the old rims/tires, let me know, they are yours.

How does the replicas affect the ride in your opinion? Where do I purchase these from? I have a PC with original tires with 30 k. They are in good shape tread wise but in between the treads there is cracks.....not bad though.

You can purchase the TRX replicas here.

Age is the biggest issues with most TRX tires. Your's may only have 30,000 miles on them, but I am sure due to age they would not be the safest tire to drive on. They are great for static car shows and maybe a low speed parade, but otherwise I wouldn't trust the tires at any decent speed.

I can't comment on ride quality, but that will be dependent as much on tire choice as anything. Overall I would assume the overall ride is similar, although I would bet fresh new rubber will give a better ride quality and handling then old TRX tires. Good Luck!

Some of the best money spent on my pace car was to put a set of these on my car. Never-never trust old dry rotted tires. The tire can come apart like a bomb without warning. Happened to me on my 68 Chevelle driving the car at luckily a slow rate of speed. No warning whatsoever just blam.

Thank you! They are out of stock right now, on the link you sent me. So by getting 16" rims I then can get whatever tire I want.....correct?
