Neat. You would think they would have updated in the last 35 years wouldn't you?

I own some of those. I bought them at a Flea Market several years ago. There is a car was about 15 minutes (Scottdale, Pa) from me that has them on the walls. I'll see if I can find the pics of mine later.

I don't know how they could last that long, if they are 35 years years old. Are they metal? How could they last that long in that wet environment. Too bad ford did not use the same steel to build our Mustangs. lol

Anybody who had T tops and took it to a high pressure car wash only did it once! That is for sure. That would be a wet ride home.

HAHA I used to take mine to both wand and auto. I had the wand wash down to knowing all of the right angles to spray and where to never directly spray at. Plus where to put a rag on the front seat! For the automatics, I had my chamois and knew where to hold it to catch most of it. That and where to press the rubber seal from the inside to stem the flow. I had my girlfriend (now wife) trained pretty good for the passenger side

Here are the pics of mine. I know I have doubles of the one. I bought all that he had. Mine are weathered a bit and where they ground off the bolts to the wall. I haven't been at that car wash for awhile to see how weathered those were. The last I seen them they had some but, not as bad as mine are.

A magnet don't stick to them. They're a thicker gauge. Still can bend a little.
