    Default Stock Fan Switch Temperature

Does anyone know what temperature the stock switch turns on the electric fan on on an ‘80s mustang with a factory electric cooling fan?

I’m putting an electric fan on my ‘83 and have a stock fan switch I was planning to use to trigger a relay to power the fan but wanted to know the on/off temps.

    Thanks

The only electric fan in a Foxbody was the 2.3 turbo/EFI/svo. Many complain the SVO comes on rather late, maybe 220 deg? You might be happier with an after market controller.

Actually my ‘83 v6 had an electric fan but I removed it when I did the 5.0 swap.

I’m sure my ‘88 and ‘92 4 cylinder cars had electric fans also
