8.8 31 spline axle question

Got an 8.8 rear end out of a n 89 Mustang donor car.
Anyone know 31 spline axles will fit ithe stock axle bearings.
Do the 31 spline axles need larger bearings?
Will the stock axle ends handle the bigger 31 spline axles?

31 spline axles designed for the Mustang 8.8 will use the same bearings, etc. as the 28 spline axles. All other essential dimensions remain the same.

I assume you know that you will need a 31 spline differential carrier to work with the new 31 spline axles. If your donor 89 rear end is already fitted with 31 splines then a previous owner has already upgraded for you. Otherwise the 89 rear end will use the standard 28 spline axles. Good luck!

I thought that was the case, but I wanted to be sure before ordering parts.
Plan on installing all new internals. Plan on using 31 spline shafts for sure.
I knew I had to upgrade the diff.
Almost went with a 9 inch.
