So my left taillight was faded almost clear on the outside edges and i decided to try and do something about it. I didn't realise they came apart that easy. I'm guessing the po had them apart at some point. I took advantage of the down time with some silver metal hvac tape to line the reflectors and bought some VHT night shades red spray paint. That crap was 15 bucks but did a really nice job.Name: 20190603_113856.jpg

I finally received the correct rotor and got all four of Big Jim's feet on the ground. Name: 20190606_192717.jpg

Sitting on 'er wheels is a big moment! Congrats!

Just saw the update with the taillights too, looks fantastic! Hooray for a little DIY instead of spending big bucks on new lenses!

Thanks a ton guys. The bigger brakes and rear discs feel a whole lot nicer than it was. Now i gotta do something about the rear bumper cover. I did some looking underneath and the flat piece of metal up top is sagging a bit. Hopefully fixing that and a little heat applied carefully will take out the bulge in the middle.

So i removed the bumper and decided to try my hand at fixing it, at least making it a little better. The second pic is me putting rivets in between the sagging parts to try and tighten it up a bit.

Next im tying a little adhesive to stick a backing plate to try and remove the hump under the plate. We'll see. I don't think i could make it worse lol

Be sure to seal up those tail lights and use some new retainer tabs so they don’t fall off

    Looking good!

Assuming the top is vinyl, aero 303 would help freshen it up. I use it on all plastic/vinyl pieces. It is not greasy/sticky.
