Have an all vinyl Elite 1100 series drivers seat in the Cobra.
Picked it up at parts yard for bargain 35.00.
Real plain stock look. Sits lower.
Durable thick vinyl, comfy. Reclines, tilts, has mesh pocket in back for flat items.
Stock track bolted up with minor mod to seat to track bolt pattern.
For a daily driver, has more shoulder and mid back room than highly bolstered versions.
Can see to the rear fine. Look stock. Do not have 5 pt harness belts no need for headrest holes.
Ya high bolsters are nice at first, but soon the feel gets old. Unless a track car.
If one is large build, may be too confining, hard to get in and out of.

Thing to watch with any used seat is broken back frame braces and wore out/broken cushion, springs.
    The 'lean' and butt fatigue.

I have no experience with the sportsman pro but I do have a set of first generation Rally 1000's in my Pinto. I like them however the bolsters make the lap belts awkward to use. You have to open the door to put on your seat belt as you cannot get your hand between the seat and the door when the door is closed. Should not be an issue with your Cougar.
