Im using 97 GT wheels with a set of cat head caps, I painted them dark.... but im really starting to dislike them that color. I might paint them silver and the car is going back to its original silver color. But I was thinking....I have a set of 18" mustang Gt wheels I took off my new mustangAttachment 126530

Good knowing that I can just turn the key and it runs, so now moving onto the front suspension, the struts are beat to death, along with bushings and tierods, both inner and outer. So that is the next step,

Little bit of an update, iv been driving the Capri a bit now, installed new front struts, what a difference, much better. Now , I'm tall, and am all about the driving expirence, not crazy tall, but 6'2", and I dont find the driver layout very accomadating for me, The seats are from a 13camaro ss and are great, high back and comfortable, Name: IMG_20190331_120549.jpg

Size: 55.3 KB but when I set them so my legs are comfortable, it seems I have to "reach " for the steering wheel and the shifter. Also didnt like the feel of the factory shifter to the transmission , it was very short, awkward and rubber mounted, so I changed the shifter handle for a HURST handle, out of a 68 mustang with a HURST completion plus shifter off of a toploader 4 speed. Its more comfortable, gives a more positive shift feel, I had missed 3rd a couple of times, but feel confident there will be no more missed 3rd shifts. I'm old skool, this is the first 5 speed iv had in any of my cars, they have always been 4 speeds like top loaders and the dodge a833 4 speeds with pistol grip. Anyway , this is more of comfortable shifter for me. Next item to address is the steering wheel, going to put a wheel with a bit of "dish" in the spokes to bring it closer to me. Here is a pic of the new old shifter installed

So, iv sold this orange Capri as a rolling chassis, I'll be swapping everything into my other Capri. I dont have any current pics, but the reason behind the sale is that I'll like a car iv built better, that way things are the way I like. Anyway , thats the update to this point, I'll grab pics soon
