Well, at least the engine and transmission are done now. I wanted to stay true-blue Mustang so we went with a Windsor block and a stroker kit for 347 cubic inches, 407 hp at the rear wheels and 435 lbs of torque at 4600 rpm's funneled through a Tremec 5-speed.
After 200 miles it has proven to be more than enough power to move the little pony at mind numbing speeds, and it shifts more like a race car than a street car after the addition of a Steeda shifter kit.
Still gotta repaint in Deep Impact Blue, install a 3.73 rear gear, swap to 5 lug wheels and restore the interior. It's only the first step in a long process, but so far I'm delighted.
