    Default East Coast Canadian

Hello everyone, From N.S Canada, I am not new to cars , but I am new to 4eyed Foxes, I currently have 2 1986 Capri's. One is an RS and the other was purchased complete minus engine and trans. RS is just about ready for the road, needs a couple minor things finished, has 393 stroker, t5, 8.8 posi, and lots more. The other car will be put together enough to move under its own power with a 302 and C4, and will be saved for a later project..Name: IMG_20190204_081221.jpg

Welcome to the site from Alberta!

You say new to 4eyed cars. Did you buy both of these together recently? The RS looks great and the roller looks like it's in pretty straight condition from the one picture you posted.

Thanks for the welcome to the site,

Iv recently acquired both cars, the roller first, in December, real straight original paint car, needs floor work from leaking door seals and wet carpet,
hasn't been driven in the last 10 years, but otherwise real solid for an eastern car, and the RS was acquired as an almost finished car. The deal was in the works from january, but just took possesion a few days ago. Just needs some dialing in to make it all right. There is a long story about the RS and what it means to me and my family,
So there was a time when I live in Alberta, met a girl, had a kid, then fell on hard times, also my daughter had a lot of health issues, and still does, then we had a second healthy, daughter, My career was taking its toll on my family life, so we separated mostly peaceful, in the entire time we were together , I had wheeled and dealed many cars, from 67 mustang, to ramcharger, Plymouth fury, dodge challengers, untill I acquired my dream Dodge Challenger, was a 440 engine I had built, black on black, 4 speed pistol grip, just an awesome car. I decided to me be back to NS, while still separated , offered to bring her and the kiddos with me, she declined. So in Ns a year later, she say she ready to come here, NS wages are not anywhere what I was making in ab so to move her, her stuff, and the kiddos, her car and the dog, I needed cash, so I gave my dream car away for a fraction of its value, took all of an hour of being listed to watch it drive away. She stayed with me for 3 years here, then moved back to AB, and she was sad that I sold my car and she never stayed. She knew it bothered me, but I never said too much about it. So fast forward , she has been back in the west for a year, I visited , and proposed and am going to have my kiddos and her here, we now have it all sorted out. Iv always had a fast car around, and before I moved to Alberta I had a Trans am, had that car for 14 years, it had alot of memories, good times and a lot of past in that car, and I just dont feel the love I once did for it. So a friend was looking for a different pace in cars, so we traded his Capri for my Trans Am, This Capri isn't about it being a Capri, but what it means is its a replacement for my challenger, (I'll never afford another like what I had), its got appeal and it has muscle, it is affordable, and is fresh, all new memories to be made, new car , to go with an all new begining. Sorry for the long story, but just shedding some background on what this car means to us.
