    Default 85 GT Dash connections

    Hey Guys!
Just started on my 85 GT restoring the interior and pulled the whole dash out etc. and re painted it. My question is are there any exploded views on dash wiring and also engine wiring? The wiring diagrams confuse the crap out of me. And the gas lid button did not work prior to that as well so I had to use the pull tab release in the hatch. I'm pretty noob its my first real tear down so bare with me lol. If I can get by this wiring I will be good to go.

The sticky thread in this forum section has the diagrams. Do you need more than that? I've been using my Haynes and Chilton manuals to complete my harness work.

I would recommend doing some testing of the circuit before making any changes or "fixing" anything.

Do you have power at the switch? Do you have power at the actuator? Is the switch good? Is the actuator good? Once you sort that out you may have a better idea as to why things are not working as needed. Good Luck!
