    Default Hello from Dallas.

Hello everyone hope all is well. Got my first foxbody the other day. 1984 5.0 CFI H.O. convertible. Seems like it needs everything but will definitely be a fun challenge. Name: 20190104_143033.jpg

Welcome rich75043! Congrats on your purchase! You sound like you're up for a challenge. What are the initial plans?

Get the mechanicals straightened out first. It came with the engine accessories in the backseat and trunk lol I did manage to get it started and idling halfway. The previous owner did some kind of hack job on the wiring but I figured out where everything goes. It's really kind of perplexing because vin decoder says I have an M code engine which is the 4V HO but...it's an auto which only came with the CFI HO if I'm not mistaken. In any case it doesn't matter since I'm converting to 4V anyway lol I've already sourced a roller long block and have torn down my engine to the short block awaiting a hoist for total removal. I like it more everyday.Name: received_2441775265850276.jpg
