Default ID of new reproduction alternator wire harness fitting 1984 GT

Hi, does anyone know if this harness will work on a carb 302 1984 GT350? Contacted them and they had no answer. Have not been able to figure out if this car uses 1984 or 1985 harness stuff as it is should be a 1/2 year car.

It is listed for a 1985 and would think it would be the same. I did install their new 1984 main engine harness.

I have been looking around for something similar for my 84 GT Turbo. Connector looks like it might be right. Thanks for posting.

I guess we are both out in the dark, thought with a 123 lookies someone would have an answer. Factory wire diagram I purchased this week was no help at all.

Old thread but that link is dead so you cant see it, does anybody still make/reproduce this type of alternator harness?

Here is a pic for reference.

Getting harder to find... '86 MPC lists the part number as E3SZ-14305-A for 4 cyl turbo applications. I have examples of both "black" and "gray" plugs. The "black" plug would be assembly line correct.

I wish someone would at least reproduce the rubber insulators on the leads.

Thats supposed to be the part number on the one i took the pic of, the number on the part itself is E3SB-14305-AA
Its a nos one i picked up incase mine wasnt fixable(i did fix it) but the charge wire(black w/orange stripe) is thinner than the one already on the mustang and on my tbird.
Im guessing they arent all the same since they had multiple alternator options.

The parts manual states 40 or 60 amp alternators. So, it appears that the service parts did not differentiate between the two sizes. Not unusual to combine applications when possible.
