      Default C5 transmission

      Hey guys, Question: How do I know if my C5 lockup torque converter is functioning? . I have some service records from 1995 (overhaul kit) and 1997 (tear down). I’m not sure if it was replaced with a non-lockup.

      AFAIK, you can't replace it with a non lockup. Lockup converters are much deeper than non so, a non lockup would not fit.
