If it's just dried fuel residue, new gas will wash it out. Or use carb cleaner. Fuel injectors will rust internally, if that happens, their junk. They are cheap to replace with a good used set, I'm sure someone here has some.
There's a YouTube video I watched a while back on cleaning/ testing injectors. I rigged up something similar to what the guy used and went through the process on an old set of injectors off my 88gt. Basically, you take a can of brake cleaner or carb cleaner and use the red straw/tube that comes with it. Attach a piece of rubber hose to it. Fit the rubber tube over the "in" port of the injector. Use a couple wires and a battery to the injector, leaving one side off. Pressurize the hose/injector by pressing the nozzle on the aerosol can while quickly tapping the loose wire to its connector. You could probably rig up a better device using some basic items...an old fuel pump, some type of reservoir, some hose and fittings, and possibly some type of electrical device that will cycle a pulse charge to better simulate a running engine. I think the main worry is that injectors are made to have very brief pulses of voltage instead of longer continuous electrical charge, which could possibly damage the internal solenoid.

There are multiple vendors that offer ultra sonic cleaning for reasonable prices in my experience. Usually $10 or less per injector. Some will clean, test, and flow balance a set for under $100. We also had a member here on FEP that offered the service too, but I can't remember his screen name. Good Luck!
