    Default Front fender extension ?

Are the front fender extensions on the 85 mustang the same as the 91-93 lx?

The fender extension you need were used on the mid year 84 GT with Fog Lamps and the 85/86 All Model Mustangs.

The 87-90 front extensions are unique to those models as well as the 91-93 front extensions.

You should consider posting a WTB in the Classified section. Good Luck!

To my knowledge they are not reproduced at this time.

I have a couple myself, just not sure I want to let them go just yet. I would recommend posting a WTB in the Classified section and see if any FEP members have some spares. You can also check Ebay, Craigslist, etc. They are out there, just need to know what you are looking for. I know there was an E4ZZ and an E5ZZ part number, not sure about any E6ZZ. Bottom line if the part number doesn't start out E4, E5, or E6 then you know they are not the ones you need. Good Luck!

For a Mustang? Looks like only a Capri or early Mustang. He's needing for an '85 Mustang.

As mentioned the John's Cougars fender extensions are for the 79-82 Mustangs using the Pace Car/Cobra/GT front lower air dam. They also fit the 84-86 Capri RS with the OEM front air dam. Obviously they can fit any other Mustang or Capri that has been retrofitted with the lower air dam also.

They are NOT correct for the 84.5 Mustang GT with fog lamps or the 85/86 Mustangs with the OEM front bumper cover. Good Luck!

If the extensions are cracked, they are just fiberglass and can be repaired using standard body work and fiberglass repair.

If the mounts for the studs are intact, but just the stud missing then you can order these as replacements. They work for the hood scoops, the fender extensions, and the headlamp/front bumper support. https://lmr.com/item/LRS-16630HDW/mu...dware-kit-7982

If the mounts for the studs are stripped out, then you want to use either some fiberglass resin or fiberglass infused filler for the repair. Pack the mount about 1/2 full of the resin/filler and then carefully thread in the new studs.

I generally use a 2 part urethane adhesive for my stud repairs. Some like epoxy also. Whatever works for you. Good Luck!

Please NO Buying or Selling outside of the Classified sections.

Either work this out via PM or in the Classified section. Thank you for your attention in this matter.
