    What can move electrically?
Fuel pump/tank vibration. Starter. Stereo amplifier (would run on the ACC circuit). Power seats?

I'd start by pulling the fuse or wiring to each thing and narrowing it down. Start with the fuel pump, then pull the fuses from any stereo add-ons, and go one-by one.

The other possibility is the ignition switch may be going, but it doesn't sound like the symptoms for that. A new Motorcraft switch is under $50, swaps in 10 minutes or so, and I keep a spare because they don't live forever--I think I've done one in every Ford I've ever owned except the LTD, and the LTD I've only owned a few weeks (the new switch for that one is in the glove box, because I buy the Motorcraft ones whenever they go on sale!).
