I need to replace the hatch supports in my 85 RS. Can I use the ones for the GT?

The hatch supports are all pretty much the same. In 86 the rear spoiler became mandatory due to the required third brake light. Adding the spoiler made the hatch slightly heavier and the spring should have been a little stronger. I cannot speak for the bubble hatch as possibly being heavier.

You can check Rock Auto and others for options.
I would recommend either of these:
MONROE 901244 Max-Lift
STRONGARM 4686
Good luck!

I remember years ago there was 3 listings. With spoiler, without spoiler, and a third one for SVO's. Nowadays some places only have 1 part number for all 3 and there's no such thing as an SVO.
