Default Wideband wiring to fusebox- 12v switched source

Looking at my 1980 fusebox diagram it looks like there are empty (not used) fuse locations such as 3,9,16, & 17. Does anyone know if any of the unused ports already have switched 12v power? I can test easily enough but if common knowledge already please share!

I temporarily wired already to radio power but I'm thinking it would be better to keep it separate in case of interference. Appreciate any input or if I'm overthinking things!

    Thx

Pretty much every fused source is fed by a fuseable link near the starter solenoid, or through the ignition switch (which is in turn powered by a fuseable link...) What I'm getting at, there are usually two main fuseable links that power every thing in the fuse box. One is a switched power source (ignition switch) the other is always active.

When I add circuits, I like to make them removable. I like to run straight off the starter solenoid lug, then add my own fuse in line or add a new fuse block close to the battery. Then I use a relay for heavier loads that are switched on and off with ignition.

There really isn't any right or wrong way to do it, its really just preference.
