Default Speakers Where Shock Access Panel Is

Has anyone used the rear shock access panel to locate a speaker? If so, what did you use and please share pics.

    Thanks

Was curious about what would fit.
Went out and tried a spare 5 1/4" round.
Speaker almost sat flat down on the panel, but the magnet hit the thick factory sound deadener material.
Had about 1/2" to go. Should fit with a little trimming of the deadener. The inner wheel well is real close.
Speaker edge did not hang off the inner side of trim panel or the angled outer side.
Anything larger really won't work in that area.
A metal plate with a hole cut in it would be better and save the plastic cover.

I remember seeing a pic on here some time ago where someone had a speaker mounted there but looked like it was modified to sit up a little taller with a plastic color matched piece. I wish I could find it again. I got plenty of bass and treble I need more mid range and thought about that being a good location if it would work.
