Thread: FNG well kinda

    Default FNG well kinda

Just picked up a 79 Capri today. I have been out of the car game for some time but was around here back in the early 2000's with my 86 coupe. If I remember correctly my screen name was Fast86. put the hobby on hold as my boys grew up but recently caught the itch when we built my oldest sons 03 Mustang so here I am. Can't wait to share the progress as I go.

    Thanks for having me!

Welcome back. I was on a ten+ car hiatus while kids grew up also and my 82 was not running. Now; back into cars!

Welcome and nice find for a project there! How about some pictures of the interior and motor? Exterior wise it looks like everything is more less there and the panels on the car are all nice and straight.
    Current Mustangs:
82 Silver GT - 5.0L crate motor, Tremec 3550 5 spd tranny, SVO brake kit, 8.8 rear end with 373s
05 Legend Lime Fastback - some mods
05 Screaming Yellow Vert - even more mods including Edelbrock blower

picking it up tomorrow morning... made the deal last week but had to wait until this weekend to get my buddy's trailer to bring it home. No engine or tranny in it at this point but I will add some more pics. Started a build thread but it didn't fit some of the rules/bylaws due to my plans so I asked the mods to delete.

Welcome back- I’m pretty new here, but it’s been a great experience so far. Good luck with the Capri. Looks like a great start!
